Laboratory for Nano and Quantum Engineering invites you to the annual NanoDay on 16 September 2024

The annual NanoDay of the Laboratory for Nano and Quantum Engineering (LNQE) in Hanover will take place on Monday, 16 September 2024. The event format is celebrating its twentieth anniversary with numerous external guest speakers this year. Scientists can still register for the large poster session of the LNQE's interdisciplinary working groups in the field of nanotechnology until 10 September 2024.

Six guest speakers from the universities of Braunschweig, Bremen, Hamburg and Duisburg-Essen will provide insights into their research work, including Prof. Dr. Stefanie Kroker from TU Braunschweig ('Nanophotonics for precision sensing'). You can download the complete conference programme here.

Call for Posters!

We are looking for posters from the LNQE working groups for the poster session. The three best posters will be honoured with a poster prize with the kind support of the Leibniz Universitätsgesellschaft Hannover e. V.. Criteria are good comprehensibility and presentation, technical excellence and interdisciplinarity.

Interested scientists can register their poster via e-mail to the LNQE office (e-mail: Schulze-Wischeler@LNQE.uni-hannover.de ), stating the title, first author, possible co-authors and institute name; keyword: NanoDay/Poster. The LNQE will confirm the successful registration by sending a poster number to the applicant. The deadline for poster registration is 10 September 2024.

The posters should have a size of DIN A0 (84,1 x 118,9 cm) and be hung in portrait format on the partition walls (width 94 cm x height 128 cm) in the LNQE research building (Schneiderberg 39, 30167 Hannover) before the start of the workshop (i.e. before 10:00 a.m. on the day of the event or already on Friday, 13 September). From 18:00, during the cosy end of the event, the authors can take the posters down again. You can download an information sheet on the poster session here.

The LNQE team is looking forward to a lively participation.
