In LZH's Scientific Directorate, Morgner takes over the chair from Overmeyer, who remains a member of the Directorate. The spokesperson of the five-member board is PhoenixD member Stefan Kaierle. Other board members are PhoenixD member Dietmar Kracht, Volker Schmidt (Chairman of LZH's Industrial Advisory Board), and Lena Bennefeld. Bennefeld succeeded board member Klaus Ulbrich, who is retiring. The LZH is an independent non-profit research institute and cooperation partner of PhoenixD.
